Ainhoa Goñi is a journalist specialised in scientific and institutional communication, with knowledge in image, marketing and advertising. She is an expert in crisis communication, directing campaigns for major research projects in the international field: information management, press conferences and interviews. Ainhoa is used to coordinate international team works, with interests in the environment and new technologies, apart from being a speaker in several forums related to science dissemination.
During her time in Radio Nacional de España she interviewed scientists and spoke of science projects, while in Cadena SER she commented on the latest international scientific news. She also had a weekly collaboration with the radio programme Eureka about patents, licences and technological companies, and she was in charge of the science section of a number of Atresmedia productions.
In September 2017 she joined the radio programme La Cafetera (Radiocable) as a scientific collaborator. Her aim is to make science accessible to the general public by speaking about science topics that have the greatest impact on our lives.
Since January 2018, Ainhoa is a columnist in the Inndux section of the newspaper La Razón, with articles relating changes in today’s society, feminism, culture and customs with new technology and business topics. Before this, she was a weekly columnist at El Mundo, where she wrote articles about Research and Development.
For the past nine years, Ainhoa was director of communications at CSIC, the Spanish National Research Council.
